Vadepally, where there are many apartment buildings, is the most expensive in the country, according to the most recent data.
The price tag on the average house in the city stood at Rs 1,700 crore in February 2017, a rise of 10.9 per cent from Rs 1.2 lakh crore in December last year.
The previous high was Rs 1 lakh crore for the same period in 2016.
The top three most expensive houses in the state are the Dhulagarh residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which is listed at Rs 3.6 crore, the Kottayam residence of Finance Minister Arun Jaitley at Rs 2.5 crore and the Prakash Javadekar residence at Rs 5.5 million.
The cheapest house is the Bijapur residence of former Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram, at Rs 624,000, with the Rajasthan residence of Union Minister for Home Affairs Sushil Kumar Shinde listed at a lowly Rs 564,000.
