US housing values rose sharply to a record high, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average closing at 24,912 for the week ending November 4, while the S&P 500 index rose to 2,056.US stock markets are on a tear.
The S&P 500 was up 3.9 per cent on Thursday and the Nasdaq was up 1.2 per cent.
The Nasdaq has also been soaring.
The Dow has risen more than 500 points since the end of November and the S+P 500 has climbed nearly 1,000 points since then.
The S&p 500 is up 7.2pc, the Nas is up 8.2% and the Russell 2000 is up 14.1%.
It’s not just the Dow and the US stock market that have been booming.
The value of gold has surged by nearly 500 per cent in the past 12 months.
On Friday, the Dow gained nearly 4 per cent and the market is up nearly 5 per cent so far this year.
The market is expected to close on Thursday at around 3.30pm.
The UK market is forecast to close at 3pm.
