Posted February 18, 2019 06:21:31The city of Vizag, India, is one of India’s biggest urban areas, boasting a high percentage of foreign buyers.
While the median price of a flat sold in Vizags market in the year ending March 2019 was Rs 4,600, it increased by Rs 11,400 to Rs 5,200.
The median house price in VizAG stood at Rs 1,700.
According to the Census, Vizag has the highest number of people living below the poverty line with 10.8 per cent of the population living in poverty.
The latest figures show that Vizag’s population density is at a high of around 15,000 people per sq km, which means that it has the most people in poverty in the country.
According the Bureau of Census, there are approximately 17,000 foreign residents in the city, out of which 2,500 are citizens.
The remaining 1,600 residents are residents of other states.
The census shows that in 2017, more than 30,000 houses were sold in the Vizag market, which was a huge increase from the previous year.
This was due to a sharp increase in the number of buyers, which in 2017 stood at around 18,000.
The new buyers are mainly from the US, UK, Germany, France and Canada, and the city’s population is growing fast.
According to a report by the World Bank, the population of VizAG has increased by 11 per cent over the past three years.
In 2021, the city had a population of 3.7 million.
It is projected that in 2022, the area of Vizags land will expand by 15.4 square kilometres.
The average price of an average house in Vizagos market is Rs 6,000, according to the bureau.
The population of the city is increasing, which is why there are increasing prices in Vizagra area, according the city.
“There is a lot of demand from the foreign buyers in the market,” said a resident of the district.
“The prices are rising because of the increase in foreign buyers, but the demand is there.
The population is rising in the area.
If the demand grows, then prices should rise as well,” said the resident.
“I don’t mind the prices going up as long as the demand keeps growing,” he added.
In a bid to make the market more affordable, the government has launched a scheme to build 2,000 new homes for the poor and underprivileged in Vizagar.
A local councillor is also in charge of the scheme, which aims to reduce the number and type of people residing in the village.
The Vizag housing scheme is not the only way the city has been tackling poverty.
The district has been doing a lot to provide shelter to the poor through a special programme for families with children.
The programme, known as the Children in the City programme, is the city government’s first effort to provide accommodation to families in poverty, as they cannot afford to send their children to school.
“It is the poorest section of the community, who do not have proper facilities for them to learn.
So we provide accommodation for them and we educate them through the programme,” said Anurag Gupta, the district councilor for Vizag.
“For the families who are not in the education sector, it helps them.
We also give them food, medicines, and clothes,” he said.
